With over 6 years of dedicated practice as a psychologist, Abby is passionate about helping individuals build deeper connections with themselves, others and the natural world. She places the utmost importance in attuning deeply and creating a safe and supportive space to help clients feel valued and empowered to make positive life changes.
Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, trauma, post-traumatic stress, relationships, and attachment difficulties. Abby embraces a non- pathologising approach, acknowledging the uniqueness of each individual and tailoring interventions accordingly. She draws from various therapeutic approaches including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) along with techniques rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing.
Driven by a quest for holistic healing approaches, Abby has pursued her interest in non-ordinary states of consciousness, recognising their potential for transformative experiences. She has undertaken many trainings in medicine-enhanced therapies to support clients through these experiences with both safety and skill, whilst fostering a nurturing environment.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Abby prioritises her own well-being and finds fulfilment through activities like yoga, meditation, stargazing, and dancing.
