Rachel has experience in both the public and private sector for over 13 years. Her areas of clinical interest are trauma, complex trauma, neurodiverse affirming therapy, chronic health, traumatic brain injuries and complex orthopaedic injuries and their impact on the individual, their grief and adjustment to injury.
Rachel believes that all clients have the capacity to grow and thrive with the right support. Rachel values providing a safe, supportive and empathic environment to allow clients to identify their main concerns and tailoring evidence-based treatment plans to each individual client in a collaborative manner while nurturing their connection to self.
Rachel has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Modes, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and is somatically informed.
For medicine enhanced therapy, Rachel has completed a number of trainings including a year-long course from the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in the US.
Rachel is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor.
